Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

Braddon is Canberra's most densely populated suburb, so it's no surprise that the lifestyle and entertainment options in Braddon are thriving. Braddon is home to arguably some of the best coffee in Canberra. Even the most particular of coffee connoisseurs will be impressed by Barrio Collective Coffee, on Lonsdale Street and Lonsdale Street Roasters. Also on Lonsdale Street is a slew of bars and restaurants, with spots along this strip topping many of Canberra’s ‘must-visit’ lists for brunch, breweries, vino, and vibes. Staying right in the heart of it all guarantees you’ll never be bored — with different spots for date night every day of the week, there’s no reason to venture beyond Braddon. Particularly worthy of mention is Bentspoke, which is consistently named as one of Canberra’s best microbreweries, eightysix restaurant, and our favorite, Corella. You’ll see plenty of impressive street art along the roadside buildings and several yoga studios and modern gyms, art classes, and music schools all located in Braddon. Haig Park comes to life every Sunday with the Haig Park Markets. From live music, delish street eats, fresh produce, and everything in between, it's a must-do if you're in town over the weekend. When you want to head out but don't want to get right into it on Lonsdale Street, The Howling Moon is at the end of the street, right next to the Astin apartments. It's a rooftop bar with arguably one of the best views across Canberra. You can settle in with a bottle of wine or two, get some snacks or drop in for a main meal.

Guest Access

We stayed in this apartment in Canberra for two nights over New Year’s Eve and it was perfect. The space had everything we needed. The kitchen was beautifully laid out with high-quality equipment, and the bathroom felt genuinely luxurious. The apartment was spotless, quiet, and very self-contained. A handwritten note and box of chocolates on arrival were a lovely touch and made us feel instantly welcome. The bed was extremely comfortable, with blackout blinds that made sleep easy and restful. Communication from the host was excellent, with clear instructions and seamless access to the property. The location was quiet, easy to get around, and parking was readily available even over a public holiday, with no parking fees. Although the space is compact, the layout makes it feel spacious and elegant. The décor is refined, and having a sofa, TV, and an accessible washer-dryer was a real bonus. Perfect for couples wanting a relaxed, self-contained stay. Exceptional value for New Year’s Eve.

Immaculate place, just as described. Very prompt response on my arrival when it turned out the keyless lock hadn't been updated - friendly, helpful respnse, sorted within 10 minutes of contact. Stairs - as advertised - are up three floors. Steep if you're dragging around a lot of kilos. All the amenities were there in the well-designed space. The bed was a touch firm for me, and I found the oil diffuser a bit overpowering, but that's personal preference. Great location close to the tram - only 10 mins to the middle of town. Highly recommended.

Jacquie was extremely responsive as well as helpful and friendly. The place was immaculate and cozy, exactly as described in the description and images. I would definitely come back again. It was my first time in Canberra, but Jacquie was so helpful and recommended me a lot of good restaurants as well as things to do around. They were one of the best hosts I met in Airbnb. They even helped me with my very heavy luggage, which I really appreciate. I can recommend this place to anyone without any hesitation.
